valentine's fun

It's always a *sweet* couple of weeks leading up to Valentine's Day.

Grammy Nita sent love in the form of a mini heart shaped waffle maker.

The kids dig these love notes and treats surprises [click here] we do daily the first part of February.

Classroom valentines.

Teegs worked hard on his Chiefs Valentine's box.

A yummy delivery from cousins Emerie, Eastyn, and Owen (thanks, Aunt Mallory!).

A couple lovey surprises in Cadyn's lunch box.

Cadyn aged out of Valentine's class cards, which feels weird for all of us. But, she did make a couple of festive bundles for her two besties.

Cam helped me create a fun Valentine's balloons game for his classmates.

The boys thoroughly enjoyed their parties and their candy hauls.

Thanks to Gigi and Papa for some sweet cards + cash.

Another fun surprise from friends Kylie and Lexie (thanks, Lisa!).

The boys were super sweet and felt badly that Cadyn didn't get any candy, so they gave her some of their least favorites extra items.☺

Dang, I love this thoughtful girl.

Our fancy seafood family dinner (grilled shrimp, lobster, crab legs, and scallops, oh my!) didn't happen until after 8:30pm due to activities and an unexpected late work day for Caleb. Cam was my big helper setting the table and getting everything ready.

We finished up with a surprise Valentine's dessert [click here].

Gorgeous and delicious chocolate covered strawberries from the talented L&L Desserts.

With Caleb's help the kids had made me the coolest cards and gave me gifts as well. I love that he is always teaching them how a woman/mom/wife should be treated.❤

Look at this intricate Perler beads wall art!

Caleb let me know from this clever note that a fiddle leaf fig plant is en route.

Lucky for me, liquor is always a great go to gift for him.

Happy Valentine's Day 2022!
