This weekend Tegan and the DC Thunder had their last travel basketball tournament for the season in Hays, KS. Seth, Justine, Brigham, Hudson, and Henry drove down from NE and we made a weekend of it! After meeting up at Gella's Diner + Brewing Co for a delicious dinner, we all headed to the hotel for some swim time.
Oh, how the kids love the hotel version of family movie night.
Cutie Henry was very popular with the crowd.
After the game we checked out Sternberg Museum of Natural History.
Next up was lunch at Thirsty's Brew Pub + Grill with arcade.

A little downtime between games.
Hang time and dinner at The Fort Tavern + Patio Bar. This place was so much FUN with arcade games, a 30 tap beer wall, axe throwing, duckpin bowling, bar games, and virtual reality.

Saturday night wrapped up with one more swim for the kids at the hotel.
Sunday our two families met up for breakfast at Mokas Cafe.
We are grateful for a positive first experience with travel sports on this DC Thunder team of awesome boys and invested coaches. It was even better to get to wrap it up with family helping us cheer Teegs on. Thanks to Seth and Justine for making the time and effort to meet up!
